Portugal - Fatima to Lisbon

This is the tomb of Dona Ines De Castro, a Galician noblewoman. She was assinated in 1355 by order of the King when his son, then Crown Prince Pedro, fell in love with her. Once Pedro was king he ensured that her tomb would be placed in the Alcobaca Monastery near his own.
